Meet the NEW Dragon Staff -- RUSTY OAKS

RUSTY OAKS returns to Dawson ISD as the Ag teacher.  He is from the Lamesa area, and has been an educator for 24 years, with 18 of those being at Dawson.  He graduated from Klondike ISD before attending South Plains College and Texas Tech University.

He loves Ag and welding, and loves making a positive difference in students’ lives.  He is very excited about working with the great kids, staff, administration, and community at Dawson.  He LOVES his job!

In his spare time. Mr. Oaks enjoys working in the yard, and helping his mom and dad do things.  He has two wonderful children – Sagen (17), and Slayde (13).  He is a firm believer that the priorities in his life are:  God, family, and job.

Dawson ISD is thrilled to welcome RUSTY OAKS back to the Dragon Staff!
